Fort Defiance State Park has 191 acres of woodlands that provide a beautiful contrast to the usual landscape of Iowa.
The park is home to a 16 site campground. Electrical hookups are located at half of the sites, but the rest are primitive. Picnicking and hiking are popular activities at this park.
The hiking trails on the property take you through the scenic landscapes. Three of the trails are open for equestrian use too.
